Deaglan Carney

On April 13, 2009 every parent's nightmare became reality for Edward and Audra Carney as their son Deaglan was diagnosed with Craniopharyngioma. This is a relatively rare tumor that strikes children and people in their 50s and 60s. It grows around the pituitary gland and can cause hormonal problems and, in the worst cases, blindness.

Using the courage and love exemplified by Ed and Audra, friends and family we established “Team Carney” to help raise money for Deaglan's continued fight.

The words thank you seem to be such simple words, but they have so much more meaning that we cannot express. Your thoughts, prayers, support and friendship have helped us and continue to help us through Deaglan's illness. We can never repay you for all that you have done. Please continue to keep us in your prayers. All our LOVE and GRATITUDE,

The Carney Family
Ed, Audra, Deaglan and Finnin
